Fiona Hendry

Fiona is a freelance medical writer and editor with more than 25 years’ experience in the healthcare field. Her areas of interest and expertise include diabetes, heart disease, infectious diseases and women’s health. She has written and edited numerous educational materials for healthcare professional and lay audiences, including newsletter articles, clinical journal articles, meeting reports and slide sets.
Prior to her freelance career, Fiona’s most recent full-time position was Director of Publications with Diabetes Canada, where she oversaw the publication of Canadian Journal of Diabetes, the association’s principal clinical journal.
